• Brent started playing golf with his dad and brother when he was 13 years old.

    Brent was largely self-taught growing up. He learned how to play golf by playing 9-36 holes a day for 5 days a week in the summertime for 4 years.

    Brent also would spend hours learning punch shots in the woods that he grew up nearby. He would practice hitting shots above, below and curving the ball through the gaps in the trees.

  • Brent attended ACM for 2 full years and led the way for an NJCAA National Championship appearance both years.

    At ACM, Brent won the NJCAA Division II Regional Championship with a total score of 147 (75+72).

    Brent also received All-Conference honors during his time at ACM, while racking up 5-individual medalist honors.

  • During his Playing Ability Test for the PGA, Brent cruised past the passing score of 158 with a combined score of 144 (74+70).

  • Coach Brent’s best finish in 2023 has come in the form of a T-7 in April. Playing with Billy Cullum (Northwest GC Head Professional), the duo shot a 14-Under Par scramble score over 27-Holes at Trump National.

  • In 2023, Coach Brent and playing partner, Tyler Potts Tied for First Place at Chevy Chase Club in the Two-Man Best Ball.

    Wilkerson and Potts combined for a score of 3-Under, for Coach Brent’s first APA Tournament victory.
