Having “grown up” in business and sales, from selling Lion’s Club pancake dinner tickets when I was nine or ten, to working in my family’s car dealership in small town Iowa beginning when I was 12 until my mid-20’s, to a long and prosperous career outside Chicago as a mortgage planner (something I still do), I realized long ago that if you treat clients and customers with respect and integrity, they will, more often than not, reward you with their loyalty and their business.
It is with this baseline belief that I began my quest to become a Certified Book Yourself Solid coach. Reading this book and interacting with the system, for me, is just like putting on my favorite pair of jeans—natural, familiar, a perfect fit.
I knew after I read Book Yourself Solid that I needed to spread the word on this great work. So when author Michael Port decided to certify top professionals to coach on his system, I jumped on it and am now one of just a few Book Yourself Solid Certified Coaches in the world. My focus is on helping community-based businesses (those businesses whose owners live and work in the community where their businesses are located) get not only booked solid, but to a point where they love their marketing and selling and have systematized their “keep in touch” strategies.
